im a good bowler,at least i think i am 170 average. I have been using a storm paradigm for the last 2 years and love it but i boight a storm attitude recently and need help adjusting. with the paradigm i stand on the middle the throw across the second arrow and do well but i need to train myself to stand far left and throw to the right of the middle arrow to get the ball down the lane and get good backend, also how can i get a silent release?
With an aggressive high performance bowling ball such as the Storm Attitude or the Storm Paradigm, you'd have to experiment with various releases, breakpoints, speeds and targets on the lane to match your delivery with lane conditions. I'd say that the outside delivery you're most comfortable with can be also bowled with the Attitude, but you may have to adjust with your hand position and speed to make it work.
Playing the inside is beneficial if the outside is extremely oily and you need friction in the center to make your ball react. I usually stand at the far left dot and either target the 2nd or third arrow from the left with medium revs and a slower speed. Usually the bowling ball will react on it's own if you release it correctly with your hand behind it right before release.
For a "silent" release, don't have a death grip on the ball, remain behind it and don't loft the ball. Just release it normally with forward motion without dumping it on the lane, keeping in mind to follow through correctly like you just shook someone's hand.
